Cancer Art

The good docs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute have compiled an awesomely comprehensive, super-searchable catalogue of cigarette ads. And they do it thorough, too - the classic Noopy orange/green look above is filed thusly:
Newport pleasure! Fire it up! (1999)
Brand: Newport (Lorillard) Type: Cigarette Format: Advertisement
Pair of Black males holding cards as Black female positions mirror to reveal hand of one player to the other; green background.
Full Text: Newport pleasure! Fire it up!
After like five minutes of scrolling through these shits, you get TIRED. Everyone in these ads is smiling like THEY ARE HAVING SO MUCH FUCKING FUN HOLY SHIT THIS IS THE BEST EVER, and after a while shit just gets exhausting. But yeah, this little trove is a billion design ops waiting to be sprung upon the world. File it under graphic design/lung cancer and come back when you need that Big Tobacco grin.

Buffalo bonus points: Roswell Park is like three blocks away from me & Dusk's high school.
