Blizzard lizards, holler at me. Here comes the cold white again, falling on your head like a tragedy...
Finally sorting through the gang of mixtapes I copped on Friday and right now this one Sheek / Styles P. track is that iPod heat, extra appropriate for cold subway rides home. I got mine off Green Lantern's 5 Star General jump and I highly recommend grabbing it from us now because it's only gonna be up for a minute.
Oh yeah Santana's "Everyone's Spot", which GL produced, is fucking retarded. It's not on Cooked Crack 2, being an Evil Genius beat, so really get out your five bucks and head to the mixtape spot. Then watch the snow fall.
I marvel at Green Lantern's rise, man. Me and Nash remember copping what was probably one of his first tapes, when he was still just a young dude out of Rochester. He didn't have any exclusives yet and used like four songs off of AZ's second album. Craziest fake computer doubles ever, same old "evil genius" and lazer drops all over the blends. He used to give shouts to Civic at New Style Records on Bailey, which is where we used to buy our records in high school. All the way from Rochester to Hot 97 and Shady Records and all that. I wonder if current radio phenom DJ Noodles - who Nash went to high school with - is gonna go the same route...? Shout to Noodles.
