Inspired by Rory's new poster for his upcoming party (TORONTO YELL), I sussed out this massive online gallery of show posters.
The cumulative effect of wandering happily through so many posters is kind of like standing on every cool-kid street corner in North America at once. It's like one telephone pole for the whole hemisphere, and EVERYONE'S got a show tonight. A real pleasant visual blast. The posters are wild: some are excellent, some are pleasantly precious, some are real nice, some are spooky and sad, and some are (inevitably) a nightmare.
But since the site's so huge, it's super interesting to just click around and see what's good. There's even one for Lil' Kim. Surprised not to see young Catch in the building, cause you know he was - and remains - real nice with this shit.
