Times They Are A Changin'
Building off of Dusk's excellent find last night, the in-dash turntable, I thought it was important to note that the latest custom mod to cars uses a MiniMac. This news is a few weeks old, and Gizmodo called it right when it came out, but it's still pretty cool. Another quick nerding note - Google's recent flood of new web tools, GoogleMaps, GoogleLocal, and GoogleMovies is starting to come together, and I think they're really poised to take over that market of the internet. It's so streamlined and self-contained.
Now when you search for something in GoogleLocal, you'll be offered a thumbnail and link to their powerful and awesome GoogleMaps. I've even seen it pop up on the main google search page, while looking for something specific. I'm predicting total domination for Google, using these three (and we can expect more) new tools. Not really surprise to anyone, but I really think they're full of great ideas. Definately a forward thinking solution, instead of the old days of using different niche service providers to work together in displaying info. OK, enough rambling.
