Breath of Fresh Florida Air

Get your guns, we're heading to FLA. If you feel someone is a threat, you are now free to "stand your ground," pull out your nine and start squeezing. According to Jeb, "to have to retreat and put yourself in a very precarious position defies common sense." Running away=Dangerous. Common Sense=Kill.

Chief Timoney, who has successfully pushed his police officers to use less deadly force, said many people, including children, could become innocent victims. The bill could make gun owners, including drivers with road rage or drunken sports fans who get into fights leaving ball games, assume they have "total immunity," he said.

The bill passed 94 to 20 in the house and 39 to 0 in the senate, and the NRA sees bringing the law national as "downhill rather than uphill." Apparently, some activist Governor in Arizona vetoed a bill that would have allowed loaded guns in bars. We've come a long way in the past 5 years, but there's still so much further to go.
