Tonight's the night we're gonna make it happen, so excited I just can't hide it, etc. etc. etc.
I'm burning copies of our LIMITED EDITION catchdubs collaboration all day. The shit is really, really, really fun to listen to - Peedi Crakk and the B-52s and Frida and Trina and Trick Daddy - so definitely come early and cop one. Plus free beer & cheap Red Bull from 10-11 so life could be real good if you play it right.
In other news, huge shout to Scott Melker for holding Brooklyn down last night at Cosmo's Remedy 718 party. Cosmo's in Bangkok or something, playing "mash up" for Shanghai or whatever, so Scott came through and kept Philly's winning streak very alive. Dude even let me and Nash get on the decks for a minute. I think I wore out my welcome when I hooked up the headphones to the mic input and started hollering with the left earpiece, but I couldn't resist. The malt made me do it...
Speaking of, shout to COMPLEX magazine for hooking up the dollar 40s of OE every Thursday. I am in a particular kind of hungover pain today - it's a familiar ache that I haven't had like this since high school. OE is a serious drink, man. I carved a Wu logo into my forty label to make the cypher complete.
