Master Chief Is A Billionaire

A little birdie informs me of the beginnings of what's sure to be an intense bidding war for HALO, the movie. Messengers are said to be waiting while people read the scripts, only to take them back afterwards. No one can have a copy. The picture above is one of those messengers waiting for the readers this afternoon. Super intense.
This movie is going to be gigantic; I'm hearing $4 million just for the script? I'm sure all of this will hit the trades any minute now...
On Monday at 12pm, CAA is going directly into studios (except Sony, because of Sony Playstation etc.) with HALO, one of the most anticipated scripts ever written. Microsoft financed and oversaw development of the scriptwritten by Alex Garland based on the most popular video game ever sold. They have asked each studio to read during lunch Monday and make their bid that afternoon. Peter Schlessel attached to produce.Couriers dressed as characters from the game are delivering to
studios.
Is that one of those MJOLNIR suits from Nightmare Armor?
UPDATE: I hear that Microsoft is making serious demands (big surprise there). New Line, Paramount, DreamWorks, Fox and Disney have all passed on the script. Universal appears to be the only one left. Please contain your excitement, I know this is really fascinating.
