Evening Edition
(1) The New York Times's new premium content is nonsense. Spare me your business models; I want my free words.
(2) Rita reaching Category 4? I feel sick to my stomach just thinking about it. Can't find a link yet, but I just heard on CNN that the gov't is asking folks in NOLA, some freshly re-arrived, to head out or head to the convention center. No, for real. If New Orleans gets 3 inches of rain, apparently the city could be looking at another four feet of water. In Texas, Galveston's got mandatory evacuations lined up for 6 AM - and only one road out of Galveston goes directly inland. Meanwhile, only four more storm names left for the year, then they're going Greek.
Meanwhile MEANWHILE meanwhile, couple of evil lawyers are trying to cash in on Katrina with a little ol' fashioned American entrepreneurship.
