Weds Night

1. Buffalo's Skyway turns 50. Rep. Higgins (D-Buffalo) wants to bring it down. We at el stence say do that.
2. McGahee's dance in gif form. Not quite Ickey Shuffle, but it's cool. Like the dude told the AP today: ``I'm a workhorse, a fine breed.... You're not going to find too many like this.''
3. National Academcy of Sciences says the continental United States can expect increasingly extreme temperatures as the century wears on:
"Imagine the weather during the hottest two weeks of the year," lead researcher Noah Diffenbaugh said, referring to northeast United States. "The area could experience temperatures in that range lasting for periods of up to two months by century's end," he said.
4. The new NBA dress code is on some bullshit. Stephen Jackson, tell them why you are displeased.
5. Thursday, Oct. 20: what a great day to get your Ruboween costume. Reader, this is going to be awesome, and you'll want to be properly attired. May we suggest the always-popular President masks?
