SAT-ROO+DAY
1. Just got a pleasant dispatch from P Jones, el stence's roving ambassador. He's walking around Paris in his new hat. Here's the word:
did it up last night, lots of uptempo and halftempo stuff - baltimore, baile, fast reggae, electro, crunk ass shit, and then the Cuizinier slower/faster which everyone knew the words to and Cuizinier was on stage rapping along to it...tres chic. i think i left my disposable camera at the spot last night, which kind of blows, although most of the pictures were probably drunken chaos. Teki said there were a lot of people taking flickflicks so hopefully some of those'll be dope. lost the shots of the big dinner with dudes from TTC, Institubes, Le Triptyque, and Arcade Mode after Cuizi and I got stoned in my hotel room and i was saying mad gibberish at the table like "final scratch is the friendster of DJ software" oh which reminds me Final Scratch was a little wonky, which caused me some onstage stress but it all came together pretty well. France loves booty music. And i've got some new audio goodies. YO WHATS UP DUDE I WISH YOU WERE HERE have fun tonight.
2. Speaking of tonight, me and JD from Texas are gonna be holding it down at Savalas. Big fun; definitely come through.
3. A-ron the Don opens up his aNYthing store next week. The website's up now and it looks dope. Me and Jonesy gave them a special shipment of homemade Bouillabaisses - you can see one of them in the "substance" link, front and center in the stack of cds, all striped out and "FANTASTIC" - so check for them, and check for us, and check for the all the old New Directions books they're selling, too. W.C. Williams's In the American Grain is a classic, dear readers.
