READY TO GET OUT OF DODGE: Most of us that cover training camp call the return to Buffalo by the players the Indy 500, because players have the pedal to the floor on their way back down the Thruway to Buffalo. They can't wait to get back and the rookies are no different.
"I’ve been waiting for this day," said John McCargo of the last day of camp Thursday. "I never thought I’d be so excited to get back to Buffalo, you know what I mean? No, I’m ready to go back to Buffalo. I’m so ready to get to back to my own bed. After practice I’m out of here. I’m not even going to eat lunch."
