When me and mitch come down to Philly this summer let's go watch Ryan Howard and get some beers. Just read the nytimes piece on him. dam. I wonder where Bonds will break Aaron's record this year and how his trip around the bases will differ from Hank Aaron's. Remember those two young hippies running to congratulate Hank? I kind of hope the stadium will just be dead silent. no boos, no cheers. just bonds running around the bases in silence. But I bet he'll break the record in S.F. and there will be fireworks and some announcer will be all happy and they'll play some stupid fucking song. Let me know when you come to nyc next time. last weekend was too brief to catchup. P
