Outrage Fatigue

I've got it. I've had it. You've had it. We've all had it. It's been years. We've got it. It's affecting the way we think - of course.

Listening to Maj. Gen. Paul Eaton (ret.) on MSNBC just now, talking about the horrendous parallels between Iraq and Vietnam in terms of the failures of the military's civilian leadership, I am nervous about this fatigue's effects, and what awful holes into which we have yet to stumble.
