2. Fucked-up AP story that I can't shake off this morning:
DETROIT - As the gunman was about to open fire, 7-year-old Alexis Goggins lunged from the back seat of the SUV and threw herself across her mom, crying, "Don't hurt my mother!"
4. Anyone else think Mike Huckabee's strange use of the color yellow in his campaign signage is a (relatively) subtle shout to his whole "Christian leader" schtick? I've seen speculation elsewhere that it's a (even more subtle) reference to his support for argiculture (?) or a play on the "bee" at the end of his name, but I think that's dumb as rocks. It's a Christian thing - but to me, it looks like piss. F minus - but then again, I guess I'm not really the target audience here.
