Writing from deep in Brooklyn on Finny's comp. She and I leave tomorrow afternoon for Minnesota and won't be back til next Sunday.
I'm pretty damn excited because Minnesota is snowy as fuck and cold as hell, which (somewhat paradoxically) warms my heart. I want to be knee-deep in snow - or at least have the OPTION of being knee-deep in snow - at this time of year. I never sleep as well as I do when I can look out the window and see snow falling.
I'll take some pictures and post up as I'm able. Day after I get back is New Year's Eve (me and Jonesy at Savalas), then New Year's Day (Sabres v. Penguins outside in Buffalo), then I go home to Philly, then January third is, of course, the Iowa caucuses.
