President's Day
Gallup asked Americans which former President, living or dead, they'd choose to take office in 2009. The results are kind of shocking: JFK 23%, Reagan 22% - ok, maybe not so shocking there, but hold on - CLINTON 13%, LINCOLN 10%, FDR 8%.
How the hell does Bill Clinton beat out Lincoln and FDR? I can postulate a couple of theories off the top of my head, but none of them are very charitable with regards to the average American's estimation of presidential efficacy.
