1. Living in New York for the past 9 years (minus the 18 months in Philly), I see this all the time: a regular sign ("APPLY WITHIN," "SALE TODAY," etc.) posted up in some business window - except kinda graffed out, usually done with a Sharpie and whatever hi-liters they got kicking around the establishment. I love this shit.
In my mind, I always imagine the grumpy-ass boss being like "Make a sign for the window." Then someone is like ok sure, does a shitty job, and posts it up. A little while later, the resident employee-slash-wannnabe graf dude sees the sign, scoffs at the boringly utilitarian effort, and is like "Yo that sign sucks, I can do a better one, lemme do a better one." No one else cares - it's just a sign - so they're like, yeah whatever. A couple intensely-focused minutes later, you've got "DRIVERS WANTED" in a weird 8th grade handstyle posted up front. I also imagine that the dude, having done the sign, thinks his place of employment is way more likely to get business now. Kablow.

Like I said to Alex, I can almost feel/smell them. Also, I must be getting older, cause Doc and Lil Mac look different to me now. They both look kinda freaked out, like: "Uh, dude, you're gonna fight Mike Tyson!!!!!!!!"

He visited San Fransisco two weeks ago. That's what happened.
* Message to all Democratic Candidates: Never to go San Fransicso, unless incognito;
* Message to Barack: Don't think out loud at fundraisers in San Fransisco if you're stupid enough to go there.
* Message # 3: If someone in SF asks you about those "strange rural people in PA"...don't indulge their liberal, latte drinking bull shit...Just tell them if they want to understand rural and ethnic PA that they should get in the Prius's and drive down to Bakersfield or any of the other mid state towns in California where there are people who actually lead ordinary lives and care about God and own guns....That's what Barack should have done and then not apologized for making remarks that while poorly worded were fundamentally accurate on one level (while not others...since when times are bad, people actually start caring about the 'big" issues like jobs and health care....that's why HW could win the senate seat in 1991...)

7. I hope the Bills take Limas Sweed, WR from UT. Not only does he catch everything thrown to him, not only is he tall as hell and fast as fuck, but dude has an amazing name. If they draft him, I'm getting a Sweed jersey next week. And I'm buying one for Dan, too.
