NEW CATCHDUBS!!!
Trash Menagerie's got a new Catchdubs mix for free download. Fuckin a! Just in time for the weekend, and the forecast for the Greater New York metropolitan area looks legitimately good. (Also, the "NEW CATCHDUBS!!!" in the title should be read in the style of DJ CLUE?, if you didn't already.)
As if the mix wasn't enough, there's also a typically engaging/funny/insightful interview with ol' Nick. Your favorite label exec tells it like it is:
4AM: Describe the perfect weekend.
NC: Friday night getting real paid, Saturday night going to someone else's party as a private citizen (but still drinking for free), Sunday walking around (no rain), catching a movie and a good meal.
4AM: Favorite place in NYC to DJ?
NC: My apartment. Sorry, city, but you are going through a "transitional period" right now.
Lol for real. And yo this mix is rad; as Nick says, it's a picture of where his head is at this summer. I can dig it. Also, he breaks down each track and explains why it's on there - that's like my favorite shit, when djs do that. I love reading that stuff.
With just a few hours left before Friday evening arrives, I offer the sterling advice of Funk Flex (talking about Fisticuffs): Cop the album that you need!
