First saw this late last night at Andrew Sullivan's. Speaking of Sullivan, here's Alex:
here's another thing that sticks out to me... (and turns into a late-night rant.) (skip video, just read post.)
So here's Sullivan exasperated that it's only now being recognized by the press, and half-bragging that he and other members of the intellectual Right (how many ARE there?) 'rebelled' against Bush43 FIVE YEARS ago... These guys have PhD's in Political Science and shit, right? They couldn't see Fucktard43 for who/WHAT he was back in 2000? They saw this complete fucking unbelievable reject asshole, heard him stumble and spittle his way through some bullshit conservative rhetoric and their eyes glazed over, their dicks got hard and they thought they were seeing the second coming, the Ne Plus Ultra of conservative mashups: William F. Buckley x Newt Gingrich x Albert Einstein* x Ronald Reagan x Jesus H. Christ? I guess I shouldn't really be surprised, as these are the same fanboys that refer to Ronald Reagan as "the Great Communicator." Shit... I was only 5 years old when Reagan became President and I was already cringing at his old-man, condescending, smug-ass before his first term was up. How is it that people are INSPIRED by these piece of shit cowboys?

OK, so they fell for Part 1 of the Bush43 farce. We're going to let that one slide for now, as the man did make promises on the campaign trail that sounded good to the "Intellectual Right," and idealists that they are, they took the man at his word... After all, if you can't take a good ol' Texas cowboy at his word, who CAN you trust?? So W is in office for a couple of minutes, 9/11, homeland security, Osama, Orange Alert and shit, WMDs, and it still takes the "Intellectual Right" another TWO YEARS (by Sully's calendar) to 'rebel against Bush?' Come on, now...
ok.. i think i made the same point like eleven times above already. got to get back to work.

p.s. you'll want to watch wed's the Daily Show, and possibly the Colbert Report -- he's got David Frum on there... what a fuckin douche (his last name even sounds like he is.. FRUM+*aflack goose honk*). Fuck that dude-- i've got a whole other conversation for you about that guy.
