Inauguration Eve
I'm stuck at work today, and I'm working tomorrow, too. But I think I'm gonna call in with a chronic & incurable case of patriotism and factionalism and let them sort it out. I've got history to watch and a little CNN stream on my work comp just ain't gonna cut it.
1. Jay-Z goes in with Jeezy on "My President is Black" live at some afterparty over at Nah Right. Best part might be Jeezy's preface re: Bush: "I wanna thank the motherfuckers who helped them move they shit up out the White House. Get moving, bitch! Kick rocks!" Via Shep.
2. The band Chicago patents & trademarks "Horn Hero." I love it. I GUESS SOMEBODY REALLY DOES KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS.
3. Keeping with my current focus on everything not-really-news - cause there'll be time for all that come tomorrow afternoon, but for now I'm still happy - didja see the new Presidential limo yet?
4. Today's the last day to kick around President George W. Bush - tomorrow afternoon, we'll get to kick around private citizen George W. Bush - so Nash sends in this classic:
